After completing her student placement with us in 2022, Ava officially joined our team in November of the same year with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Ava takes pride in ensuring the well-being and happiness of all animals great and small. She particularly enjoys her role in surgery nursing, carefully monitoring anaesthesia and providing tender care to our patients in recovery. Ava loves being an advocate for all pets and ensuring they receive the gold standard care during their stay including all the cuddles and treat. She also volunteers at Geelong Animal Welfare Society, dedicating her time to helping animals in need. Ava's heart belongs to her two cherished cats: Ted and Nellie.
When she's not caring for animals, Ava loves spending quality time with her partner and family. Her hobbies include gardening, playing video games, listening to music, and walking in the botanic gardens or along the beach.
